2023 has another hit — THE FINALS blasts past 10K players

4 months ago 170

While I’ve not had two seconds to spare this holiday season, it appears I need to free up some time. The Finals has been amazing (Jackson said as much in his preview), and it’s the talk of the social-sphere. It’s not all talk either, with Embark Studios being able to brag on over ten thousand players since shadowdropping at The Game Awards two weeks ago. You always love when a game does well, and it’s great to close out 2023 with yet another banger. The details, along with some incoming content, are below.

Embark Studios announced today that the recently launched free-to-play team-based shooter has reached ten million players just weeks after its surprise launch during The Game Awards.

“We’re so humbled and excited by the response from the community so far – 10 million players this soon is something we never could have dreamed of,” said Rob Runesson, Executive Producer of THE FINALS. “We will continue to improve and add to the experience, and make sure we keep surprising our community for years to come.”

Earlier this week THE FINALS introduced its first in-game event of the season, right in time for the holidays. Tumble around in a snowy Monaco, get free holiday-themed cosmetics, and cause mayhem and destruction in the world’s most festive game show!

What’s more, the Holiday Event also includes Twitch drops, allowing all streamers to enable fun and festive drops to their viewers. Rest assured, there’s more to come in Season 1 after the holidays. To keep up with the world’s fastest-growing game show, visit THE FINALS via reachthefinals.com and join the community on DiscordTwitter / X, and YouTube.

THE FINALS is available now, on PC via Steam, the Xbox Game Store, and the PlayStation Store.
