WolfEye Studios, the team behind Weird West that’s led by Dishonored and Prey developers Raphael Colantonio and Julien Roby, are currently working on a yet-to-be fully revealed first-person action RPG.
We got a look at some screenshots and a very short video clip of this coming game last year, but there are still plenty of questions around the game. One of those questions being, who will be publishing this game? That question has officially been knocked off the list, as WolfEye Studios announces they’ve partnered with Neowiz to distribute the game globally.
The announcement also comes with a look at a few new concept art images, which you can check out below.
“Partnering with a studio brimming with incredible talent at WolfEye is a timely strategic fit for us,” says co-chief executive officer at Neowiz Seungchul Kim in a press release. “This collaboration reaffirms our commitment to delivering remarkable story-driven games that resonate with gamers worldwide on PC and console platforms.”
For WolfEye Studios, president and creative director Raphael Colantonio says “We have a burning passion for making a very specific type of game that blends RPG, action and simulation. These games can only be successful when the publisher shares that same passion.”
Chief executive officer and executive producer at WolfEye Studios Julien Roby adds “With Neowiz, we found a partner that truly understands our vision and is as committed as we are to delivering a unique, creative and memorable game experience that will appeal both to our long-term fans and new players alike.”
So that’s one big question around the game answered, but unfortunately it doesn’t give us any more answers around what this game will be, what it’ll be called and when we can start to expect its arrival. Hopefully before the end of this year we at least get a title.
