Wuthering Waves version 2.1 available now bringing new content and optmisations

Kuro Games' hit action RPG Wuthering Waves has released its latest update with version 1.2, Waves Sing and the Cerulean Bird Calls. Aside from a whole host of new content, as you'd expect, this update also comes with new optimisations to gameplay and some surprising graphical upgrades. So let's dig in!

First off, new content; the Riccioli Islands and Vault Underground offer whole new areas to explore with sun-soaked shores and dark, gloomy underground vaults respectively. On top of that, you've got two new five-star Resonators with the stylish Phoebe and Brant. There are also new weapons, a new companion story and a new exploration quest to dig your teeth into, not to mention limited-time content like the Old Man and the Whale fishing event.

But, what's all this I've mentioned about optimisations? Well, first of all, you now have Echo presets and recommendations, allowing you to quickly choose your loadouts and get tips on how to improve. On top of that, we've got camera optimisations to capture photos of your favourite resonators in their idle poses and more, with Ray Tracing now available on PC for those who play multiplatform.

While MiHoYo undoubtedly dominates the genre we've seen some increased competition as more developers throw their hat into the ring. And Wuthering Waves has proven to be quite popular, meaning this new update is sure to be welcome to new and existing players alike.
