- Wuthering Waves version 1.4 has been revealed
- It adds in more companion stories and see the return of the Somnoire
- Meet two new resonators, grab two new weapons and more
As we cruise towards the weekend, there's plenty of time to play the newest games that have released this week. However, Wuthering Waves fans might find themselves a bit too busy to tackle their backlog, as version 1.4 is right around the corner! So get ready to find out what's coming soon with When the Night Knocks.
The big headliner here is the return of the Somnoire: Elusive Realms mode, as the Somnium Labyrinth. Set in a dreamlike world this nocturnal environment promises new challenges to take on and mysteries to uncover.
Adding onto that is the debut of two new resonators with the five-star Camellya and four-star Lumi. They come along with a new five-star and four-star weapon, the Red Spring and Somnoire Anchor respectively, which you can also receive Transmogrifications for.
But the biggest additional update comes with a new companion story as Forking among the Stars concentrates on Camellya, one of the new debuting resonators. You'll be able to experience this, and a whole lot more, when version 1.4 debuts on November 15th.

Considering the competition it's facing I think Wuthering Waves has done a good job of keeping up with the frequency of updates displayed by other developers like HoYoverse. However how well it stands out from the pack will, of course, depend on whom you ask. But I think it's admirable that there are still consistent updates coming out month-on-month to help satisfy players.
Still, if you can't wait until November 15th and need something to occupy you, why not try some of what we've selected for the latest entry in our regular feature covering the top five new mobile games to try this week?
Better yet you can always check some of our guides. Why not dig into our Wuthering Waves tier list to find out which resonators to seek out?
