Uncharted Waters Origin releases major update with a new admiral and gameplay systems

The seafaring sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin has expanded with the arrival of a new Admiral, Elizabeth Shirland, alongside fresh content updates. Your sailing adventures are set to be enhanced as a new Investment System is introduced with numerous other improvements.

At the centre of Uncharted Waters Origin’s latest update is Elizabeth Shirland, an S Grade Admiral, also known as Cutlass Liz. Once the chief navigator of Francis Drake’s fleet, she now leads a group of pirates on a treasure-hunting mission. You can explore her story through memoirs that offer exclusive rewards and items.

The update also brings new Mates in the form of S Grade characters Chloé de La Baume and Kualha Binti Phahibi. In addition, inn employees Yeonhee and Muyoung can join your crew as S Grade Mates once your Friendship with them reaches its peak. 

Another significant part is the Investment Season system, which raises the stakes of in-game investments. By using the seasonal Investment Deed, you can make investments that renew each season, offering exclusive items and Mates through the Investment Shop. Dividends based on seasonal investment ranks have also been increased.

The shipbuilding system also sees improvements, with the introduction of Grade 22 Massive Ships such as Temeraire, Flying Cloud, and Endeavour. Building any ship is now possible without level restrictions, and the construction time has been reduced, making it easier for you to enhance your fleet.

Furthermore, the Northwest Passage has opened, allowing for new exploration routes across the northern seas of the American continent. This includes access to new cities and villages, expanding the world you can navigate and conquer. To top it off, the Competition Shop Season three will run from January 13th to 26th, letting you earn rewards like Blue Gems and Competition Tokens.
