We’re getting closer to Warframe: 1999’s release too
- Xaku is a powerful combination of three forgotten Warframes
- Two signature weapons added in Prime Access
- New cosmetics available too
Digital Extremes has just announced some exciting news for Warframe as the next Prime Warframe has just dropped on all platforms. With the allure of enhanced stats and new abilities, Xaku Prime arrives with boosted shields, armour, energy, and sprint speed, as well as an extra Aura mod slot. Plus, we’re gearing up for the arrival of Warframe: 1999, so it’s about to be a riveting few weeks.
Xaku is a rare creation in the Warframe universe. They’re a fusion of three forgotten Warframes that originally served the Entrati family. Now bound together in a form unlike anything seen before, Xaku brings an unsettling Lovecraftian style, wielding the chaotic energies of the Void.
Their abilities allow you to take control of the battlefield in distinct ways, including stealing enemy weapons, converting attacks into Void damage, and unleashing explosive remnants as shrapnel, turning opponents’ own perceptions against them.
Alongside Xaku Prime, two signature weapons are also debuting - the Quassus Prime Warfan and Trumna Prime Rifle. Quassus Prime is suited for close-quarters encounters, allowing for swift, damaging strikes, while Trumna Prime offers precision from afar with heavy-hitting firepower. You can find these weapons within Xaku Prime Access or earn them through specific tasks.
If you're interested in customising your Warframe further, new cosmetic items arrive with Xaku Prime Access, including the Artifex Syandana and the Necra Operator suit. Both are expected to be popular additions, adding more visual options to reflect your style within the Warframe universe.

Additionally, Höllvania Central Mall’s social hub is making a comeback, opening on November 14th. This interactive space lets you explore new areas, connect with other players, and experience the evolving community as Warframe: 1999 approaches its release. You’ll have until December 6th to make the most of this place.
You can earn Xaku Prime and their weapons through gameplay by collecting the necessary Blueprints and components from Void Relics. If you’d rather not wait, Prime Access packs allow immediate use, providing everything you need right from the get-go.
