Sail the seven seas
- Warpath is set to become even more comprehensive in its military simulation with a new naval update
- The entire system has had an overhaul to make the newly-introduced ships easier to control and deploy
- Whether that's submarines or destroyers, you'll also have new in-game events and gifts to enjoy!
Like it or not, Lilith Games' popular strategy MMO Warpath has proven to be a big hit with its exciting simulation of modern military strategy. Offering something a little more serious than Clash of Clans, but still accessible for the average mobile user, it's nonetheless had one very conspicuous absence for modern military enthusiasts.
Yes, despite covering most of if not all of modern military operations, there's been little in the way of naval action. But at the end of 2024, we saw our first inkling of the new take on naval warfare with the introduction of ship warfare in the Tides of War update; and now it's getting a major overhaul with the introduction of a new Naval Force system!
While many may have felt the initial introduction of the navy was lacklustre, Lilith Games seems to have heard their feedback. Now with 100 ships based on iconic real-world ships, the developers have also fine-tuned attack and defense stats; allowing ships to attack while moving, streamlining animations and simplifying controls. But slower movement means reinforcements take longer and engagements are more meaningful, so you'll need to be careful with your commanding!
Changing tides
If you've previously bounced off of Warpath you'll have a chance to make a comeback in style with the new Return to Glory and Prime Buff events that'll offer both abundant resources and power-ups. If you're making a return you can start a new character on a different server while inheriting 50% of the Gold and VIP Points you've made from purchases on your previous accounts.
This event only lasts until January 19th, so you'll want to jump in fast, as over $50 worth of rewards in the Operation Regroup event is also up for grabs for returning players. Meanwhile, the Tide of Honor sign-in event can net you a naval offer and upgrade resources to help build your fleet!
And if you are planning on jumping back into Warpath, don't get pulled behind. Be sure to check out our list of Warpath codes, recently updated as of December 2024, to see about nabbing some free rewards!
