After a riveting few weeks, the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship has finally concluded, and we know our winner. Sixteen teams battled it out to be crowned the ultimate champion and Black Shew Esports (BSE) prevailed, taking home a whopping $300,000 from the $1 million prize pool. They took down Dominator Esports (DMT) in an intense showdown at the Lippo Mall Kemang to solidify themselves as the best Honor of Kings team in the world.

The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship began with 16 teams taking part in best-of-five battles, with the top two teams proceeding to a best-of-five double-elimination bracket in the quarter-finals. This resulted in only BSE and DMT remaining, with the former taking home the coveted title in the grand finale. On top of that, BSE’s Musanking was awarded the Final MVP for his exceptional performance, adding another highlight to the team’s win.

This tournament marked a fitting end to a successful year for Honor of Kings esports, following a series of memorable global events. This season began with the Invitational Season One, where Vivo Keyd Stars took the lead, followed by Season Two, where LGD Malaysia clinched the top spot. August’s inaugural Esports World Cup in Riyadh saw KPL Dream Team achieve a major win, setting the stage for the HOK Championship finale where Black Shrew Esports showed their prowess.

Looking ahead to 2025, HOK esports promises an even larger lineup of events. Invitational Season 3 will begin in spring, followed by an Invitational Midseason event in Riyadh during the summer, and another high-stakes Honor of Kings Championship later in the year. In addition, a new pro-league system, the HOK Major EAST and HOK Major WEST will offer greater opportunities for teams across the globe.
