The Split Fiction PS5 download size has been revealed by the ever-reliable X account PlayStation Game Size, which confirms Hazelight Studios‘ latest title will weigh in at 79.001GB on PS5.

Split Fiction features two writers, Mio and Zoe, who specialised in science fiction and fantasy, respectively, as they are hooked up to a machine and end up trapped in their own creative endeavours. As such, the pair must work together to escape with their memories in-tact, relying on unique abilities to help them overcome various challenges while navigating worlds inspired by their works.

The fantasy and sci-fi inspired worlds ensure that players never know what to expect, as you may find yourself facing off with cyber ninjas and evading hover cars, to escaping trolls and taming dragons. Teamwork is paramount to your adventure, as you must coordinate your actions and timing to overcome the challenges that Split Fiction throws your way.

Josef Fares, the founder of Hazelight Studios, recently added his two pence on the subject of AI in games, stating that both positive and negative things will come out of it. Split Fiction is out for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on March 6, 2025.
