Silent Hill 2 Remake & Metaphor: ReFantazio Score Highly In Famitsu Magazine

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has issued scores for Silent Hill 2 Remake and Metaphor: ReFantazio, with both games scoring very favourably in the publication.

For those unfamiliar with Famitsu magazine, they employ four members of staff to review a game and each score it out of 10, leading to an overall score out of 40. In the case of Metaphor: ReFantazio, Famitsu awarded it 9/9/10/9, resulting in a score of 37/40. Silent Hill 2 Remake meanwhile was awarded 8/9/9/9 for an overall score of 35/40.

Famitsu notes that Silent Hill 2 Remake takes about 16 — 18 hours to finish, and a translation of a snippet from the review reads, “The sense of realism and creepiness brought by the beautiful visual and sound is incredible.”

Silent Hill 2 Remake is scheduled for release on October 8, 2024 for PS5 and PC, while Metaphor: ReFantazio is out on October 11 for PS5 & PS4.
