Max Out really is an apt name for the season
- Dynamax Pokemon will appear in Max Battles at Power Spots for an hour every Monday
- Max Mondays will begin weekly November 11th onwards
- Use Campfire to find trainers for meetups
The past couple of months in Pokémon Go have been pretty thrilling thanks to the new Max Out season which introduced the highly anticipated Dynamax Pokémon and Max Battles. Add to that the Halloween event and the upcoming Wild Area event, and this definitely is one of the most popular seasons in the AR game.
I hope you haven’t maxed out your ability to read about Dynamax Pokémon because there’s another announcement coming your way. Niantic has introduced Max Mondays in Pokémon Go, bringing even more supersized creatures to the fray. From November 11th, for one hour every Monday evening, a Dynamax Pokémon will headline Max Battles at Power Spots.
Max Mondays will take place between 6:00 and 7:00 pm local time, similar to Spotlight Hours on Tuesdays. You can find the first set of Pokémon to be featured below:
- November 11th – Dynamax Charmander
- November 18th – Dynamax Drilbur
- November 25th – Dynamax Bulbasaur
- December 2nd – Dynamax Squirtle
Dynamax battles are not easy and it’s best to try and complete them in large groups. That’s where Campfire comes in. You will be able to see nearby Max Battles and Flare activity just by clicking on the green icon under the compass menu. Plus, you should also be able to look for meetups online - that will make the task of completing these challenges easier.
If you're hopping into Pokémon Go after a long break and are clueless about what’s happening around you, then Dynamax is a temporary effect that pushes Pokémon to their limits in terms of size and abilities. They are able to perform Max moves, which deal devastating damage.
You can check out our list of all the Pokémon that can currently Dynamax and also look at this guide on Max Battles to learn more about the concept.
