Lance MacDonald has revealed that the latest PS5 system software update has heavily impacted jailbreaking by making changes to the Restore Licenses screen.
Previously, the screen used to be a progress bar that allowed you to download every license for everything you’ve purchased, even if it isn’t installed. It was then possible to head offline with your PS5 and jailbreak the console, while still having access to all digital games purchased legitimately.
However, following the newest PS5 firmware update, the Restore Licenses has been changed so that you now download the licenses for games you currently have installed. This means that, if you jailbreak your PS5, you’re going to be stuck with your pirated titles as your library of legitimate digital titles will largely be unplayable.

You used to be able to jailbreak your console, then install any game you’ve ever owned in the past by just using a USB stick. So you’d keep access to your entire library of PSN games even though you had no internet and were jailbroken. Now it won’t work.
Obviously this is only an issue for PS5s that have been jailbroken, although the process is still a bit of a pain as you can now longer restore license in bulk like before.
