Race Off+ sees Mattel and top racing dev Hutch bringing back a classic, coming soon
  • Racing fans, rejoice, as Hot Wheels owners Mattel is once more set to partner with top dev Hutch
  • Hutch, the folks behind F1 Clash, are bringing back fan-favourite Hot Wheels: Race Off+
  • Releasing December 5th, it'll be an Apple Arcade exclusive

If you were an avid Hot Wheels racing fan around seven years ago, first of all, congratulations on the high-school graduation, and second, you'll be excited to know one of Hutch's famous takes on those adorable die-cast racers is making a comeback!

Originally released way back in 2016, Hot Wheels: Race Off was a fan-favourite that sadly was pulled from release as these things are; however, it's now making its way back to mobile as an Apple Arcade exclusive.

Coming from the developers of other top racers like F1 Clash, Hot Wheels: Race Off+ is as straightforward, simple and appealing as can be. You collect, upgrade and race over 60+ iconic Hot Wheels die-cast cars against one another, inspired by everything from the realistic to the wacky. Aim for the best time on the Game Center leaderboards, and either relive the nostalgia or experience the adrenaline of Hot Wheels: Race Off for the first time on Apple Arcade.

On your marks, get set-

While it may not be all that satisfying for some of you that Race Off is only making a return via Apple Arcade, I'd say it does show that the folks at Mattel and Hutch are aware of its enduring popularity. You only need to look as far as many of the search results to see the nostalgia many see for Hot Wheels: Race Off, so even if it's only in a limited form, I'd guess that many of you are glad to see it make a return.

You'll be able to play Hot Wheels: Race Off+ just in time for Christmas as it hits Apple Arcade on December 5th!
