Idle MMO-ing? Yes, please

Go Go Muffin kicks off second Closed Beta Test, hyping you up for the cosy MMO's launch next month
  • The second and final CBT is underway
  • Have a go at the idle MMO ahead of the launch
  • Pre-register for launch goodies

XD Games is once again opening sign-ups for another round of tests for Go Go Muffin, the studio's cosy MMORPG with low-pressure elements. The fantasy MMO's second CBT will run until November 21st, so if you've always been curious about its auto-battles and adorable pets, now's your chance to get a taste of the action.

In Go Go Muffin, you can look forward to journeying through a post-apocalyptic world where - contrary to other mobile experiences where it's all about gloom and doom - you can befriend fellow adventurers and collect cute Melomon pets. There are plenty of snazzy outfits to try on too, plus various classes to choose from as you challenge dungeons and team up in guild quests.

While the idea of an MMO combined with idle elements might seem odd, it actually makes plenty of sense to me - after all, I don't always have the luxury of devoting my full attention (and time) when going on epic quests to save the world.

This will be the final CBT before the official launch on December 3rd, so you don't actually have to wait too long before the release. But if you're not one to wait, you can head on over to the sign-up page to join in. Or if you're keen on similar experiences, why not take a look at our list of the best MMOs on Android to get your fill?

In the meantime, you can also pre-register for special launch goodies on Google Play and the App Store. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
