Farewell, Zhuge Liang
- Service will officially end next month
- You can still enjoy existing purchases until then
- No official reason has been stated
A brand-new year means brand-new opportunities, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone is safe from getting shut down even in 2025. This is exactly the case for Dynasty Warriors M, Nexon's mobile version of the popular Koei Tecmo franchise. It seems like not even an official license can save something that's already on rocky ground, which is truly a shame given how I personally enjoyed this IP on consoles myself.
Dynasty Warriors M, in case you're not familiar with it, adds a strategic base-building element to the action, so you can enjoy unleashing devastating attacks on your foes even more using popular characters from the Three Kingdoms epic. Unfortunately, in-app purchases were halted last December 19th, and service will officially end on February 20th.
There was no specific reason stated in the official announcement, only that "despite your continued support throughout our journey together, we regretfully inform you that Dynasty Warriors M will end its service." And it's only been a little over a year since it launched too, so it's disheartening to see it go - especially, I imagine, for anyone who's spent actual money on the game.
But then again, there's always that risk when investing resources given how unpredictable the market can be. If you're still playing at the moment though, rest assured the team will do their best "to provide the best service until the very end."
In the meantime, if you're on the hunt for similar titles that will help you move on, you can scratch that base-building itch with our list of the best city-builders on Android to get your fill.
