Annapurna Interactive recently imploded, which left more than a few questions about what’s happening with all the games it’s meant to be publishing and working on.
Slowly but surely though, the staff left behind at Annapurna Pictures are doing what they can to pick up the pieces, which also includes confirming to fans which projects are still happening and which are not.
Which is why the studio’s official Twitter account released a statement to players saying that Silent Hill: Townfall’s development will continue, along with co-development partners Konami and NoCode.
“We deeply apologize for any concerns about SILENT HILL: Townfall,” the studio began. “SILENT HILL: Townfall will continue to be co-developed by Konami, Annapurna Interactive, and No Code.”
After it’s reveal two years ago now, we’ve not heard much of anything about Townfall and how it’s going. Now that Annapurna Interactive is dealing with having to restaff the entire studio, chances have only gone up that we’ll continue to not hear anything about it.
