Disney Pixel RPGAvailable on: iOS + Android
Genre: RPG
With Kingdom Hearts' many, many iterations still going strong to this very day, it's not hard to see why Disney would want more of its characters out in the gaming world - and we're definitely not complaining. Disney Pixel RPG adds an adorable pixel-art twist to your favourite Disney characters, and in an accessible portrait orientation to boot.
This adorable new mobile time-waster offers AFK rewards and an intuitive auto-battle system, where you can build your squad with everyone from Donald Duck to Baymax. You can even create your very own Avatar with lovely cosmetics, because when you're adventuring with the Mouse himself, Mickey-eared headgear is an absolute must.

Hidden in my ParadiseDeveloper: Ogre Pixel
Publisher: Crunchyroll
Available on: iOS + Android
Genre: Puzzle
Cosy vibes and adorable animals abound in Hidden in My Paradise, a new hidden object game that's now on mobile courtesy of Crunchyroll Game Vault. As apprentice photographer Laly, you'll scour different scenes for specific objects that each mission needs - thankfully, you've got Coronya the fairy by your side to help you hone your powers of observation.
Clear quests across a variety of zones, then craft your own levels and share them with your friends. You'll create snaps using the items in the scene and complete your photo collection - you might even have to help a chicken ride a toy tractor just because.

Midgard Heroes: Ragnarok IdleAvailable on: iOS + Android
Genre: RPG
Given how adorable Porings are, I'd say you can never have too many Ragnarok games - and this week, we've got another lovable entry in the popular franchise but with an idle twist. Midgard Heroes: Ragnarok Idle invites you to experience classic RO without the hardcore grind.
Team up with your guild or go all by your lonesome to challenge fifty bosses from Ragnarok lore. Take your pick from among the classic job classes (now in chibi form), then engage in both PvE and PvP battles to reap bountiful rewards - this time, you don't even have to be online to get them.
4
Children of MortaAvailable on: iOS + Android
Genre: Retro, RPG
Beautifully animated to make the gripping tale even more engaging, this pixel-art roguelite RPG invites you to take a closer look at the lives of the Bergson family. While you're fighting a seemingly noble fight against the Corruption, nothing is as it seems, and you'll eventually learn that there's always a price to pay for peace.
The story-driven title offers procedurally generated dungeons with seven playable characters you can switch between. The mobile version compiles both the Ancient Spirits and the Paws and Claws DLCs as well, with an online co-op feature to follow.
5
Castle DuelsDeveloper: My.Games
Available on: iOS + Android
Genre: Tower defence
Because towers inevitably need defending, the tower defence genre is always spawning new games for us to sink our teeth into, with Castle Duels being one of the latest titles joining in on all the fun. Protect your castle by strategising the best units to deploy on the battlefield across real-time PVP combat.
There are 39 different units to collect with varying rarities, with a special Battle Boost you can choose after the second round to spice things up a little. Then, merge your units to form supercharged ones that can turn the tide of battle in your favour.

Catherine plays video games for a living and writes because she’s in love with words. Her Young Adult contemporary novel, For The Win: The Not-So-Epic Quest Of A Non-Playable Character, is her third book published by Penguin Random House SEA - a poignant love letter to gamer geeks, mythological creatures, teenage heartbreak, and everything in between. She one day hopes to soar the skies as a superhero, but for now, she strongly believes in saving lives through her works in fiction.
