Level TankEver since poncle broke the mould by sending you on a vampire-killing spree across pixel-art levels filled with macabre secrets, everyone seems to be joining the "bullet heaven" bandwagon. But Vampire Survivors aside, there's plenty of other concepts to play around with when it comes to these shoot 'em ups, and Hyper Bit Games seems to know exactly how to do just that - but with tanks!
With more than 20 maps to explore across a whopping 27 different game modes, it seems there's no limit to how you can shoot your way through unwitting foes in your superpowered movable armour. As you progress through each new run, you can upgrade your tank to survive increasingly difficult stages in this charming pixel-art roguelite. And because human hubris is always a thing in video games, the leaderboards will help you flex your tank tactics against other players across the globe too.

Big Time SportsTaking up a new sport doesn't have to be a chore - not when all you need is a single tap to win big. In Big Time Sports, you'll tap your way through everything from basketball to weightlifting across minimalist visuals, because why take years to learn the mechanics when you can do it all with the click of a button?
Made for all kinds of skill levels and different ages, this charming new entry from Frost Pop on mobile proves that there's beauty in simplicity. Take on different sports via bite-sized micro-games - after all, even a small tap can inevitably lead to the big time.

I Am Your BeastAnother Frosty Pop release makes its way to iOS with I Am Your Beast - only this time, there's plenty of violence that sports should never ever have. The FPS features stylised visuals you can expect from the makers of El Paso, Elsewhere, with more than 20 levels and a fully voiced narrative to really ramp up the immersion.
It's always "one last mission" when you're as good as you are, and as retired operative Agent Harding, you'll exact revenge on the Covert Operations Initiative that hired you in the first place - with lots of bullets, bodies, and blood in between.

Grand Mountain Adventure 2Is there anything more exhilarating than speeding towards the infinite expanse of white on your trusty snowboard? For winter sports enthusiasts, there probably isn't - but if you're not the type to take on death-defying ski stunts IRL, Grand Mountain Adventure 2 has you covered.
This open-world adventure will have you paragliding and ziplining through the mountains filled with steep slopes and lush forests, with plenty of challenges to take on to prove your skiing skills. And if you'd like to kick back and relax after a day out in the snow, you can explore the massive ski resort and strut your stuff in customised outfits and gear. The sim's Zen mode also lets you ski in peace with no challenges to distract you - just you, your gear, and the beautiful snow up ahead.

Ragnarok Idle Adventure PlusPlump Porings, classic classes, and as much idling around as your lazy adventurer can muster - these are all the things that make Ragnarok Idle Adventure Plus appealing for RPG lovers who just can't stand the hardcore grind. The popular franchise from the classic MMO is now in yet another mobile form, albeit in a more casual and low-pressure format.
Auto-battle your way through Midgard across nostalgic classes and skills, then take on MVP bosses or challenge yourself in the 4v4 arena. All these come with AFK rewards too, because who really has the time to grind 1000 branches to craft that one headgear you're only going to use once?

Catherine plays video games for a living and writes because she’s in love with words. Her Young Adult contemporary novel, For The Win: The Not-So-Epic Quest Of A Non-Playable Character, is her third book published by Penguin Random House SEA - a poignant love letter to gamer geeks, mythological creatures, teenage heartbreak, and everything in between. She one day hopes to soar the skies as a superhero, but for now, she strongly believes in saving lives through her works in fiction.
