Warframe has finally released the Koumei & the Five Fates update on all major platforms

The wait is over as Digital Extremes has finally released Warframe’s latest update, Koumei & the Five Fates, across all current platforms, introducing a slew of content to the smash hit title. From a new Warframe to a fresh mission type and QoL adjustments, this patch is packed with everything. Plus, a Halloween surprise is waiting for you too!

At the heart of Warframe’s latest update is of course Koumei, the dice-maiden and the 58th Warframe to join the roster. Koumei's abilities revolve around luck and chance, offering a unique playstyle where random chance can lead to powerful buffs and debilitating status ailments for enemies. She can summon protective charms, trap enemies with unpredictable results, and manipulate the threads of fate to deal additional status effects.

The update also introduces a new mission type, Shrine Defence, where you’ll be tasked with defending Cetus from enemies emerging from the sea. As you fend off waves of attackers, you’ll encounter the Infested Oni, a new mini-boss that will challenge you to use all your skills and strategy. 

As for the QoL upgrades, you will see changes to the Companion system, improved clarity for new players, and enhancements to Cross Platform Trading. Caliban has also received a long-awaited rework, enhancing his combat mobility and ability synergy. To celebrate, you can log in and claim Caliban for free until October 16th.
