Sliiide to the left
- Musical puzzler Slidewayz is getting a Christmas-themed makeover
- This puzzler sees you sliding pieces left and right to get a specific one to the end
- You can collect three new themed sets of characters to use, and experience new themed levels
Whether it's archaic pop bops, carols or otherwise, music and Xmas seem to go hand-in-hand. Little surprise then that musical puzzler SlidewayZ is capitalising on this with a winter-themed update! Coming to us from Dig-It Games, the folks behind Roterra, SlidewayZ is chilling out for winter.
If you haven't heard of SlidewayZ before, I don't blame you because this is the first time we've actually covered it. So, what's it all about? Well, it's very simple because the clue is in the name. SlidewayZ sees you moving around pieces on a gameboard in the cardinal directions, all with the intention of getting a specific piece to the endpoint.
It's a puzzler all about collecting cute characters, so an Xmas-themed update seems only natural. In this update you'll get three new sets of characters to collect, with Snowmen, Elves and Dancing Santas populating themed puzzle sets all around the holidays.
Slide to the left, slide to the right
Like Roterra, SlidewayZ is one of those releases that has an unusual throwback atmosphere that I can't quite place but reminds me of the old days of surprisingly complex bargain-bin PC puzzlers. I'm surprised it's the first time SlidewayZ has popped onto our radar, but having taken a look at it, I can tell this unusual little puzzler is probably made to appeal to a specific niche.
Regardless, if you want to hop into SlidewayZ and give it a go, the winter update is now live! so you can enjoy over 800 puzzles and new additions for the holidays too!
