Hello, penguin!

Arknights debuts new Sanrio collab featuring a host of cutesy cosmetics
  • Arknights is set to get a major new collab with hit mascot franchise Sanrio
  • Whether it's Hello Kitty, Kuromi or My Melody, there's some great stuff for everyone!
  • But hurry, because this collab is only live until January 3rd!

Fans of Arknights can rejoice as we head into the holidays because if you're lucky enough to have a good bit of time off work you can enjoy the newest major collab as Sanrio's iconic mascot characters join up! Well, in a way, but suffice to say there's plenty here to enjoy.

Unfortunately, you won't be taking Hello Kitty or Kuromi onto the battlefield, but what you will be able to nab are custom cosmetics themed after the iconic Sanrio lineup!  Doctors can grab three new outfits, Remedy in a Cup of Leung Cha for Lee, Party in the Garden for Goldenglow and Stream Above the Clouds for U-Official. These are all available in the in-game store.

Not only that, but you'll also be able to purchase exclusive collaboration packs in the in-game store to boot! That includes the Partners Commemorative Pack, Friendship Commemorative Pack and the Honey Party Pack!

I think the only thing I could say about this crossover that might mar it a bit is that it's a shame all these great new cosmetics are only available as purchases. I'm sure many of you would be happy to grind away at Arknights to grab these cosmetics as rewards, but them's the breaks.

In any case, it's yet another reminder of just how popular Sanrio's juggernaut of a mascot franchise is. And here you probably thought that Hello Kitty was just a keychain, and now they're taking over Arknights!

If you're going to be hopping into Arknights to try out these new additions, don't go in unprepared! Be sure to check out our tier list of all the Arknights Operators, so that you know who to recruit if you're a first-timer, or so you can customise your lineup even if you're just a longtime player!
