Things are heating up this winter
- The PUBG Mobile Global Championships are heating up
- Despite frost updates to PUBG Mobile, the end of the League Stage has increased the heat
- Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE and ThunderTalk Gaming are the latest teams to qualify
While most of you are probably quite chilled in PUBG Mobile, especially with the latest Icemire Frontier update bringing icy dragons and more to the hit battle royale, a whole other league of players is currently (probably) sweating bullets. And that's because the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 league stage has just concluded, bringing three more qualifying teams on board for the finals this December.
Brute Force, INFLUENCE RAGE and ThunderTalk Gaming will be joining the already qualified teams in the grand finals at the London ExCel Center this December 6th to 8th. Fortunately, those teams who didn't make the cut in this round still have a chance.
The Survival Stage commences from November 20th to the 22nd. 24 teams will be narrowed down to only 16 in this stage, with the Last Chance stage on November 23rd to the 24th offering slots for six more teams to join the Grand Finals.
Shoot for the moon
Having covered a lot of this recent news over the PUBG Mobile Global Championships I have to admit it's made a bit more of a mark than the much more heavily-marketed but arguably much less extensive PUBG Mobile World Cup that took place in Riyadh this summer.
Then again, compared to that event which took place practically on the other side of the world for many players, and which maybe owes more to the desire to promote Saudi Arabia as a major gaming hub than anything else, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship is set to make a major mark by being in a more easily-accessible venue.
