Lots of new content coming your way
- Pokemon Go Wild area will take place globally and in Fukuoka, Japan
- Numerous Electric- and Poison-type Pokemon will be featured during the event
- New Safari Ball will be released too
Niantic has just announced a new event for Pokémon Go, and it’s no ordinary one. Unlike the usual monthly events we see throughout the season, this one’s different. Titled Pokémon Go Wild Area, this event is inspired by the likes of the Go Fest and Go Tour, so you can expect the extravagance. Get ready to explore uncharted areas in hopes of finding some very powerful Pokémon.
Pokémon Go Wild Area will feature a tonne of Electric- and Poison-type Pokémon. These will be accompanied by a few strong creatures so you're going to be shocked to find. This is a ticketed event that will provide you exclusive access to one of the Electric- or Poison-type branches as you learn more about Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon who will debut during the event.
While trainers from around the world can participate in Wild Area, if you're in Fukuoka, Japan, there’s an in-person event waiting for you. Between November 16th and 17th, you can head to Maizuru Park and take part in all the exclusive events. A bunch of mighty Pokémon will be available in addition to Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia, who will be part of raids.
Fear not if you're somewhere else though - the following weekend will see Wild Area take place globally, on November 23rd and 24th. Toxtricity and its Dynamax version will make its debut alongside Go Safari Balls, which make it easier to capture Pokémon. You should focus on using these as the Pokémon encountered during this event will be more powerful and difficult to capture.
Tickets for the global version are selling for $11.99, with the Fukuoka one costing an additional ¥3,100 or local equivalent. As of now, you can purchase tickets for the global event by visiting the official website. Begin stocking up for the event by redeeming these Pokémon Go codes!
