If you hadn’t heard, today is PlayStation’s birthday. The platform has officially turned 30, and has been celebrating in big and small ways since just before the launch of Astro Bot this past September.
As part of its birthday celebrations for the actual day, Sony decided to invite all its friends (business partners) and celebrate them, and their contributions to PlayStation over the years.
“Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) hosted the 2024 PlayStation Partner Awards in Japan Asia (hereafter PlayStation Partner Awards), honoring all the incredible games and talented developers who released their games on PlayStation within the Japan/Asia region,” reads a post on the PlayStation Blog about the awards.
Most of the categories save for the PlayStation’s Generations Awards are all for studios and the games they’ve released between October 2023 and now.

Excellence Award
