MythWalker lets you save a parallel Earth across a new geolocation RPG, now in regional beta
  • Battle enemies and explore the world even without physically moving
  • Craft gear with mini-games
  • Choose from varied classes and species

NantGames has announced the launch of its regional beta for MythWalker, the studio's geolocation RPG that's coming to all regions later this year. Now available in Australia as well as in Latin and South America, the closed beta offers mobile gamers in the region to explore the world of Mytherra, and if you're keen on joining in, you can sign up from the official website today.

In MythWalker, you can look forward to saving an enchanted parallel world as guided by The Child. In your quest, you'll take your pick from among three classes (Warriors, Spellslingers and Priests) as well as from three species (the doglike Wulven, the birdlike Annu, and the Humans). Craft items via mini-games and navigate the world around you to dive into combat even without moving physically.

If you're feeling a little bit more social, you can also form a party with your besties of up to three local players. You can then work together to challenge fearsome foes and reap even more bountiful loot.

In the regional beta, newbies to the world of Mytherra will find a welcome helping hand in the tutorial, as well as Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese language localization. You can personalise your character's looks with a variety of cosmetics as well, along with plenty of craftable equipment and armour you can use to fight against the nasty Hobgoblins. Taking part in the beta will reward you with in-game goodies at launch for all your hard work.
