Bid 2024 adieu in style

Monster Hunter Now gears up for the New Year with limited-time quests and higher monster rates
  • Annual Happy Hunting New Year celebration begins next week
  • Higher appearance rates for certain monsters
  • Limited-time holiday events

There's only a week left to go before Christmas, and just after that, we'll be bidding 2024 adieu. Niantic is hyping up the big day with a special holiday celebration within Monster Hunter Now - in particular, the annual Happy Hunting New Year celebration will kick things off on December 23rd, with year-end deals and exclusive gear up for grabs to send off 2024 with a bang.

In the latest update for Monster Hunter Now, you can look forward to trying your hand at clearing limited-time quests until December 31st - this will reward you with Palisnow, which, in turn, can be used to exchange event-exclusive goodies like a Lagombi Christmas Sweater layered equipment.

Additionally, the Happy Hunting New Year 2025 Medal and a Final Hunt 2024 guild card background will also be available. Plus, you can take down rare monsters like Gold Rathian, Black Diablos, and Coral Pukei-Pukei to nab Mysterious Driftstones and redeem armour skills Critical Boost, Fire Attack and more.

As for welcoming 2025, January 1st will see Deviljho, Zinogre and Rajang appearing more often - you can take advantage of this rate-up chance until January 5th to grab a First Hunt 2025 guild card background.
