Keiichiro Toyama Compares Slitterhead To Silent Hill In That It Will Be ‘A Bit Rough Around The Edges’

Keiichiro Toyama, the director behind Bokeh Game Studio‘s debut title, Slitterhead, has admitted it may be a little ‘rough around the edges’ while maintaining a sense of originality, much like his previous works including the 1999 psychological horror classic, Silent Hill.

Speaking with GameRant, Toyama-san, who founded Bokeh Game Studios in late 2020 after departing SIE Japan Studio, revealed that Slitterhead encompasses the same ‘attitude’ of his past titles.

From the very first Silent Hill, we have maintained a commitment to freshness and originality, even if it means being a bit rough around the edges. That attitude has remained consistent throughout my works and in Slitterhead.
