As you swim through the Zora region, you’ll come across a peculiar character who desires a specific storage item. Sounds easy to do, but it’ll have to be used underwater. Here’s how to start and complete the Precious Treasure quest in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.

How to start Precious Treasure in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

To start the Precious Treasure side quest in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, you must complete the main storyline of The Jabul Waters Rift. It’ll be part of the Searching for Everyone mission in the Jabul Waters region. Once you’ve accomplished this questline, travel to Zora Cove and head inside the village with the fish tail statue.

Engage with the Zora resident at the entrance next to the shop. This interaction will kickstart the side quest, leading you on an exciting adventure to find ‘something to put his treasure in.’

The Zora resident desires a treasure chest found in the sea of the Zora Cove. Swim around these waters, and you should see a chest in no time. To retrieve it, use Bind on the chest and start pulling it out. If enemies are nearby, clear them out with Echoes like the Chompfin.

Once it’s out, dive in and open the chest. Utilize Bind again to drag it over to the Zora resident. Fortunately, he’ll be outside near the fish tail statue to make the process a bit easier (marked with a blue waypoint). Just place the treasure chest in front of him, thus completing the Precious Treasure quest in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.

You’ll receive three Monster Stones as a reward. Exchange them at the Dampé Studio to repair any broken Automatons. If you have yet to unlock this feature, you’ll likely need to progress more through the main storyline. The stones don’t seem to have any use beyond the Automatons, but you can utilize other monster parts for potions and smoothies.
