The universes of Toy Story and Brawl Stars have merged for one epic crossover, filled with bundles, brawlers, and the exclusive Surge Lightyear skin. To get these rewards, you’ll need to collect Pizza Slices, the new currency featured in the shop.
Although the slices may involve premium purchases, you can save yourself some cash with a few alternative methods. Here’s how to get free Pizza Slices in Brawl Stars.
How to claim free Pizza Slices in Brawl Stars
When the Pizza Planet event began on Jan. 2, several issues prevented players from earning Pizza Slices. Due to these problems, Supercell launched a compensation package for those impacted by the bug. With this new release, you can start earning free Pizza Slices by performing the following tasks in Brawl Stars:
- Claim 400 Pizza Slices in the Shop (only works for players who did not spend more than 300 Pizza Slices on the season’s Day 1)
- Win matches in Brawl Hockey
- Collect Pizza Slices from the Pizza Planet Daily Delivery or Shop
- Tap to reveal prizes in the Prize Shop
- Complete Seasonal Quests
As long as you didn’t exceed the 300 Pizza Slice limit on Day 1, you can find a Pizza Slices Compensation tab in the Shop. You can also claim more from the Pizza For All section, which provides 12 Pizza Slices daily.
If you head over to the Pizza Planet hub via the main menu’s left side, you can tap on the packs to earn Pizza Slices each time. It doesn’t offer as many slices as the other methods, but it’ll at least provide you with some, regardless.
The two last methods simply require you to play Brawl Stars, offering slices to those who win and complete specific quests. For instance, one Special Quest rewards you with 30 Pizza Slices after you’ve won three battles in Brawl Hockey 2v2. Remember to check the Quest board, as the objectives will change over time. Plus, those who have any extra Gems can spend it on more slices via the Shop.
How to use Pizza Slices in Brawl Stars
Exchange Pizza Slices at the Pizza Planet section to unlock Mega, Super, and New Packs. Packs may include:
- Double XP
- Cosmetics (Sprays, Skins, Profile Icons, Pins, and Bling)
- Coins
- Brawler variants
- New Meeple Brawler (Available Jan. 9)
When you’ve reached the end of your daily Pizza Slice chain, you can claim a free Surge Lightyear skin. However, you must first acquire Surge’s default version to access it. If you don’t have this, you can get him for free by exchanging 1,395 Pizza Slices.
Acquire these rewards before the Pizza Planet event’s conclusion on Feb. 4. Though, specific content, like the Surge Lightyear skin, will receive an extension for a few months to give you more time.
