Project 007 stars a "young Bond for gamers"

Hitman developer IO Interactive has been working on 'Project 007' for a long time now and in a new interview, company boss Hakan Abrak has already teased the potential future of this new assignment.

Abrak first mentioned the idea of a trilogy for this new Bond universe back in 2021. As for when we can expect to finally see this project, Abrak says the team will have more to share in "due time".

"I don't have an update today, but believe me, it's itching here as well to be talking about it soon. So we are following our plans. The production's going amazingly well and we will soon be talking more about it... there's a lot of cool stuff coming up"

Project 007 was originally announced to the world in 2020, and was originally described as a "wholly original Bond story" where players step into the shoes of the famous secret agent on his very first James Bond origin tale.
