Heroes of History is the next 4x MMORTS from Innogames, creators of Forge of Empires

• The publisher's experience with city-building has, reportedly, lent itself well to the new game

Heroes of History, the next title from the creators of Forge of Empires, Greopolis, Lost Survivors and more, is available now on both Google Play and the App Store.

It follows in the well-trodden footsteps of Innogames' long-running title, Forge of Empires, starting you off in the Stone Age and having you advance through the ages as you progress. However, beyond that through-the-ages gameplay, Heroes of History steps away and it does so fast: It's a 4x MMORTS title of the mobile variety.

Alongside the launch, they also released a new trailer detailing some of the titular historical heroes.

That means that you'll be building up a city, gathering resources from a world map, forming armies and striking out into the world as part of an alliance to complete server-wide activities. If you're thinking of Rise of Kingdoms, Call of Dragons or State of Survival then you're thinking in the right direction - however Innogames has been doing this longer than all of the above, and it shows.

It sounds like its already going well, according to the developers; Christian Reshöft, Chief Product Officer of InnoGames said the following:
