Hellblade 2 Could Reportedly Hit PS5 As Soon As April 2025

According to a report on Windows Central, Hellblade 2 could launch for the PS5 as early as April 2025, as Microsoft continues to expand its lineup of Xbox exclusive on other platforms.

Jez Cordon has previously stated that he believes Hellblade 2 is a case of not ‘if’ but ‘when’ the game comes to PS5, which he said will be pretty soon. Now, he’s followed this up, with ‘trusted sources’ claiming Hellblade 2 will arrive on Sony’s current-generation in just a couple of months.

We’ve heard that even more games are slated for PlayStation in the near and long term future too. Recently, I’ve been hearing from trusted sources that Hellblade 2 could be launching on PlayStation 5 as soon as this April.

Back in January 2025, Windows Central reported that not only will Hellblade 2 likely come to the PS5, but also Gears of War Ultimate Edition. Since then however, we’ve also heard that Microsoft is looking to bring a Gears of War Collection to the PS5, featuring the first three games.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II was released for the PC and Xbox Series X/S in May 2024, and is the sequel to 2017’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, taking place in Iceland during the 9th century and plucking inspiration from Norse mythology.
