Grand Theft Auto VI is almost here, in fact Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two just re-confirmed that it will launch this coming Fall 2025. But that isn’t stopping Grand Theft Auto V from selling.

The latest numbers update from Take-Two, per the company’s third quarter report today, shows that GTA V has surpassed 210 million units sold since it launched more than a decade ago now. That number is also a 5 million unit increase from the last sales update back in November 2024.

Red Dead Redemption 2, for its part, hasn’t exactly hit 210 million, but instead has surpassed a very respectable 70 million units sold, which itself is a 3 million unit increase from Take-Two’s last quarterly report.

Grand Theft Auto V has had unprecedented success in the last decade, and its expected that GTA VI will do even better than its predecessor. Right now, there’s no reason to believe that Rockstar won’t be able to deliver, as GTA VI is set to be the biggest cultural moment in games since GTA V released in 2013.
