Take the fight to the enemy, and take their abilities for your own
- Kemco's latest JRPG adventure is here with Dragon Takers
- Use your enemy's skills against them with your character's unique ability
- Turn the tide of an epic war, or die trying
Kemco's latest JRPG adventure is here, as the exciting and tactical Dragon Takers hits storefronts today! Face off against epic threats in a grim fantasy world, using your player character's ability to carry the day, or die trying.
Set in a fantasy world ravaged by the Drake Emperor Tiberius and his army, you play as Helio, a young man from the village of Haven who barely survives a dragon attack. As a result, however, he acquires the mysterious ability, Skill Taker. It falls to this unlikely hero to change the tide of the war and turn back a seemingly unstoppable force.
As you might've guessed, Skill Taker is the key unique mechanic of this game. Using it, you can take your enemy's abilities for your own, turning them against them. And you'll need all the help you can get, as Dragon Takers promises unrelenting but tactical battles that'll test your mettle.
Here be dragons
Kemco has rapidly become recognisable to me as the face behind many of the games that are hitting mobile in the solidly Japane-esque JRPG genre. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as this is a sub-genre with just as many fans as detractors, many of whom like the more granular, statistics-based combat. And with the ability to use your enemy's own abilities against them, Dragon Takers certainly seems to promise that signature unusual approach to combat.
