Cyberpunk 2077 will receive another major patch in the form of title update 2.2.

Plans for the update, which were announced on Monday, come as a surprise given that the studio previously said the game’s last significant patch would be its final one.

The update will be detailed in a live stream on December 10, which will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube at 8am PT / 4pm GMT / 5pm CET.

“A lot of questions about whether PS5 Pro support and NG+ are coming with Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.2,” said CD Projekt Red global community director Marcin Momot. “The answer is no. “We do have some other cool stuff in the oven and we’ll talk about it tomorrow during the stream—we hope you’ll like it too! Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.1 update was released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in December.

CD Projekt said it added “some of the most-requested features” to the game, including a metro system, portable radio player, repeatable car races, hangouts with romantic interests, and improved boss fights.

The company recently confirmed that it’s partnered with Netflix for a new Cyberpunk animation project.

Chief financial officer Piotr Nielubowicz announced the news, along with new sales milestones for its Cyberpunk game franchise, as part of the company’s quarterly earnings results in November.

Sales of Cyberpunk 2077 have topped 30 million copies, while its Phantom Liberty expansion has topped eight million units. Both are coming to Mac next year.

Development of a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, which is codenamed Project Orion, is being led by CD Projekt Red’s new North American arm.
