Ubisoft is adding 60 FPS support to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate when played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S via backwards compatibility.
Launching on November 19, the 60 FPS patch will also add 4K resolution on PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X.
The title update will weigh in at around 0.75 GB on PlayStation and approximately 31.8 GB on Xbox.
Originally released in November 2015, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate takes the series to London during the Industrial Revolution.
Other older series entries to receive 60 FPS updates in recent years include Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Ubisoft recently said it’s confident of hitting Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ delayed release date.
In September the company delayed Assassin’s Creed Shadows from this November to February 14, 2025.
At the same time, it announced that it was departing from its traditional season pass model, cancelling early access to the title, and granting players who pre-ordered the game its first expansion for free.
The delay will result in an extra €20 million ($21.7m) of development costs, according to Ubisoft.
Following the delay, the company attempted to play down concerns that Sony’s recently-revealed Ghost of Yōtei, an outwardly similar historical action-adventure game also set in Japan, could eat into Assassin’s Creed Shadows sales now that both titles are being released in 2025.
