Cyber QuestAvailable on: iOS + Android
Groove to some cyberpunk funk with Cyber Quest, a new roguelike deck-builder where you assemble your crew and take down crimelords ruining your beloved city. As you take to the streets with ragtag ragamuffins by your side, you can customise your cards and build your deck across randomised pixel-art challenges.
And because ridding the streets of organised crime is no easy feat, the welcome electronic beats in the background will accompany you throughout your journey to make each new rival faction you take down as satisfying as the last.

Back 2 BackAvailable on: iOS + Android
They say that two heads are better than one, but they also say that too many cooks spoil the broth - it's up to you to decide in Back 2 Back, a couch co-op racer that takes two-player mechanics and adapts them entirely on mobile.
Put your teamwork and reflexes to the test (along with your friendship) as you try to manoeuvre through different tracks using two drivers - one on each phone. You can choose to take the wheel or go all-out with your attacks, or switch roles on the fly to win - if you can manage to get along, that is.
3
Lawgivers IIAvailable on: iOS + Android + Steam
Approve bills or abolish laws that don't work to your advantage in Lawgivers II, a minimalist political sim where you take the role of a world leader on a quest to make your nation rise as the greatest in all the land. You'll work your way up and get people to vote for you, then start dishing out your daily dose of power-tripping once you're comfortably seated on top.
Of course, heavy is the head that wears the crown, as you'll also have to grapple with inflation, financial stability, and global wars. When it comes to leading your own country, do you have what it takes to lead your nation to greatness, or will you crash and burn like the rest?

Monument Valley 3Developer: Ustwo games
Available on: iOS + Android
Forgiveness is the name of the game in Monument Valley 3, the highly anticipated sequel to the minimalist puzzler. Navigate the impossible with the princess Ida, uncovering hidden pathways and illusions along the way.
What makes the series so popular with its fans is the breathtaking world around you, from sunny windmills to mysterious temples. The gorgeous soundscapes add to the whole experience, as the audio reacts to how you manipulate the environment as well.
5
SuzerainAvailable on: iOS + Android + Steam + Nintendo Switch
Okay, so this technically isn't a fresh release, but with the addition of an entirely new nation within this political RPG, Torpor Games is calling it a complete re-launch on mobile. Suzerain will have you leading the Kingdom of Rizia on this major expansion, once again letting you take the reins when it comes to grey-area dealings and a tumultuous political climate.
Experience a gripping tale filled with simulations that will really put those brain cells to work. There are no right or wrong decisions here - only lasting consequences for the choices that you make. Define history as you lead your nation - or will you and your principles buckle under the pressure?

Catherine plays video games for a living and writes because she’s in love with words. Her Young Adult contemporary novel, For The Win: The Not-So-Epic Quest Of A Non-Playable Character, is her third book published by Penguin Random House SEA - a poignant love letter to gamer geeks, mythological creatures, teenage heartbreak, and everything in between. She one day hopes to soar the skies as a superhero, but for now, she strongly believes in saving lives through her works in fiction.
