Fairy Bottles are incredibly useful in any Zelda game, and Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is no exception. They keep you alive in dire situations by automatically providing you with a few refilled hearts.

There are a total of four Fairy Bottles to be found in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and you’ll need to keep them topped up if they’re to be of any use. I’ve got all the details for you, don’t worry.

The four Fairy Bottles in EoW can be found by completing various quests or simply exploring the many nooks and crannies of Hyrule. Only one of the Fairy Bottles is likely to give you much trouble.

First Fairy Bottle: Suthorn Forest

The first Fairy Bottle, or at least the easiest to get first, can be found in a cave in the south of Suthorn Forest. As this is a fairly early area that we get to explore, it’s worth grabbing this bottle as soon as you can.

To find it, head to the cave marked with an X on the map above and work your way through the cave. When you reach as far into the cave as you can, you’ll find the Fairy Bottle in a chest.

Second Fairy Bottle: Kakariko Village

To get this Fairy Bottle, you’ll need to complete the “Cuccos on the Loose” side quest, during which you have to find five lost Cuccos and return them to their pen. When the fifth Cucco is back where it belongs, the quest giver will provide you with the second Fairy Bottle.

Third Fairy Bottle: Seesyde Village

This Fairy Bottle is the reward given for completing the “The Zappy Shipwreck” side quest in Seesyde Village. To start this quest, talk to the man on top of the Boat and then head off to defeat Barinade. For completing this quest, the man on the boat will give you the third Fairy Bottle.

Fourth Fairy Bottle: Stamp Collecting

After interacting with the first Stamp Stand you come across, you’ll meet the Stamp Guy and be given a card to collect stamps on. To get the fourth and final Fairy Bottle, you’ll need to fill up three Stamp Cards, which is a total of 15 stamps. When you get your 15th stamp, the Stamp Guy will reward you with the final Fairy Bottle.

How to use Fairy Bottles in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Each Fairy Bottle is the equivalent of one additional heart of health. When you are knocked down in battle, the Fairies each bottle will leave and refill one of your hearts, allowing you to fight on or giving you time to use a Smoothie or Potion to get your health up.

You don’t have to actually use a Fairy Bottle, but you will need to make sure you keep yourself stocked up on Fairies.

If you have an empty Fairy Bottle with you and come across a Fairy, it will automatically jump into the Fairy Bottle and stay there until it’s needed. Fairies tend to materialize around water sources in the forested areas of Hyrule. However, one place where Fairies are guaranteed to spawn is the Great Fairy Shrine.

This location can be found in the middle of Lake Hylia, and it’s where you’ll need to go if you want to gain additional accessory slots. Every time you visit, make sure to collect the two Fairies in the room.
