The Platboom Echo is an extremely helpful echo in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Platbooms are essentially floating mattresses with dangerously spiky bottoms. They go up and down like an elevator, and as such, you can use them to complete many of the platforming challenges in Echoes of Wisdom Summoning a platboom costs three Tri power.
The Platboom Echo is rare, though. Here’s where to find the Platboom Echo.
You can find Platboom Echo in two locations. To get the echo, attack the yellow squishy part when they drop down. (Goes without saying, but don’t let it land on you!)
The first place to find platbooms is in the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins, the rift you’ll clear before heading to the Cryptic Cavern and the Gerudo Sanctum. On the north side of the dungeon, while hunting for Tri’s friends, you’ll find a two-dimensional cave with platbooms. Look out for this ladder to enter it:
However, the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins will vanish after you complete this part of the story, so if you missed the platbooms in here, don’t fret, as there’s another permanent location you can find them in.
The second place to find platbooms is right outside of Gerudo Town. Similarly, the platbooms are in a two-dimensional cave located here:
You’re looking for this ladder:
Inside, you’ll find platbooms. And that’s it! You have the Platboom Echo.
