What is the next Dreamlight Valley update? Each new Dreamlight Valley update adds new characters, features, and quests to the life sim, and the roster of Dreamlight Valley residents has expanded so much already – and shows no signs of slowing down. Fans on social media have previously requested the likes of Cinderella, Belle, and Stitch, and with Cinders the only one missing now, we know Gameloft is listening.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has never been better thanks to the colorful life game‘s new characters and mechanics. Its vibrant community makes it even better, especially with more multiplayer functions being added, and a paid DLC brings even more biomes and residents to your valley if you want them. Even if you don’t want to splash out on paid content, there are still plenty of new Dreamlight Valley recipes, characters, realms, and more added to the base game regularly, so here’s everything we know about the next free Dreamlight Valley update.
Next Dreamlight Valley update
The next Dreamlight Valley update arrives on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Jungle Getaway revamps the Lion King Realm, and brings two new characters along for the ride.
Timon and Pumbaa arrive in the valley with the Jungle Getaway update, both of which can be adding to the ever-growing roster of Lion King valley residents via the existing Lion King Realm. Instead of the gloomy-but-beautiful night-time appearance of the realm when you find Simba and Nala, sunshine now floods the area in celebration of the arrival of the comedic duo.
Jungle Getaway follows Dapper Delights, the previous update, in which Tiana arrived in the valley alongside the paid Rift in Time DLC. The Princess and the Frog character and everything she brought with her are all completely free for anyone with the base game, as is the Jungle Getaway update. As usual, there are some tasty new ingredients and recipes courtesy of Tiana’s Palace, the newest valley eatery.
