The only way to get new five-star characters and weapons in Genshin Impact is to use the gacha system, which the game calls “wishing.” If you’re a careful planner when it comes to spending premium currency, you’re going to want to know what characters and weapons are coming up.
Should you spend your Primos on the current gacha banner? Should you save up for the next one? We’re here to help you make that decision by letting you know who’s running and when the next banner starts.
The current character banners in patch 5.2 feature Chasca and Lyney, alongside the four-star characters Ororon, Sucrose, and Barbara. The weapon banners are the respective signature weapons of the featured five-star characters: the Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage bow and The First Great Magic bow.
What characters and weapons are in the next Genshin Impact banner?
The character banners that will run after Chasca and Lyney’s banners are for Zhongli and Neuvillette. The weapon banner will feature both of their signature weapons: the Vortex Vanquisher polearm and the Tome of the Eternal Flow catalyst.
Zhongli is a Geo polearm-user who exceeds at creating gigantic beefy shields and Neuvillette is a Hydro catalyst-user who blasts enemies away with giant horizontal waterfalls.
The four-star characters who will run alongside Zhongli and Neuvillette have yet to be announced, but will get properly revealed closer to the day their banners launch.
When does the next Genshin Impact banner start?
The Zhongli/Neuvillette banners will start at different times on Wednesday, Dec. 10 or Thursday, Dec. 11, depending on what server you’re playing on and what time zone you’re in. The times the banner changes are as follows.
