Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 2 has been delayed to July 25, 2024, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed on X. It’s a last minute delay, as Season 2 was set to launch on July 11.

As previously revealed, Suicide Squad Season 2 content was detailed via an email sent out by Warner Bros earlier this month, and confirms that new gear, cosmetics, and features will be rolled out for the game, which also includes Victoria Fries, aka Mrs. Freeze.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was originally released for the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S back in February 2024, following numerous delays. The game was a major departure for developer Rocksteady Studios; instead of a narrative-focussed single-player title, Suicide Squad is a live-service project that didn’t exactly go down a storm with critics and fans alike.

Warner Bros. previously revealed that the game’s currently planned roadmap will be completed, although the publisher didn’t have anything to say about its plans beyond that.
