Warhammer 40,000 Darktide PS5 Release Set For December, 4K/60 FPS On PS5 Pro

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is coming to the PS5 on December 3, 2024, Fatshark has announced. The game is now available to preorder via the PlayStation Store, with two versions of the game to choose from: Standard and Imperial Edition.

Originally released on the PC and Xbox Series X/S in November 2022 and October 2023, respectively, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will benefit from all the improvements released for the game to date. Furthermore, Fatshark is including 4K resolution at 60 FPS for the PS5 Pro, with a Performance Mode (1440p/60 FPS) and Quality Mode (4K/30 FPS) also confirmed for the standard PS5.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide builds on the foundation of the melee combat seen in Warhammer 40,000: Vermintide II, and injects the action with intense gunplay allowing for a mix of both ranged and proximity battles. Players can create their own character and customise their appearance, voice, and origin while determine their unique skill sets by assigning them a specific class.

Stepping into the unforgiving Tertium Hive, you’ll navigate boiling hot industrial factories and a decaying water maintenance zone plagued by constant acid rainfall as you and your allies attempt to free the city from a mysterious and sinister new fore.
