Until Dawn 2024: How to Kill Everyone

The remake of Until Dawn provides players with the freedom to choose what happens to any character in the game. You’re free to make your choices, only that those choices affect the characters in some way. And what makes it even more interesting is that you can enjoy the game in two opposing versions. You either try to save every character or kill them all. Either way, it takes strategy to achieve the ultimate goal. And with eight player characters that depend on each other, you have many choices. Here’s a quick one through the tips you can use to kill everyone on Until Dawn 2024. 

How to Get Jessica Killed

Once you’ve entered Until Dawn’s Blackwood Mountain, you can do anything you like in the first three chapters. Here, your decisions and actions do not impact the characters’ lives in any way. However, once you get to Chapter 4, you can kill Jess. Simply delay rescuing her after the Wendigo grabs her. You can also delta or fail the QTEs or take the safer route. The Wendigo will definitely have enough time to kill Jess before you get there. And when you find her jaw already ripped apart, know her fate in Until Dawn 2024 is sealed. 

Eliminating Chris

Chris’s life and progress in Until Dawn 2024 largely depend on his choices involving Ashley. Therefore, you can start as early as Chapter 5 by choosing to save Josh over Ashley or turn the gun to Ashley when they are held and tied to the chairs. While this will not end Chris, it has an effect on him later in Chapter 8 when the Wendigo chase after him. You can deliberately miss the targets so that the Wendigo can catch up with him and kill him. Still, if he survives and gets to the cabin, Ashley will remember his choices against her and won’t be opening the door to save him. 

How to Kill Matt

Although he appears as early as Chapter 5, you won’t have Matt killed that early. However, if you dislike him, you can start by making the wrong choices for Matt. First, let Matt give in to Emily’s request to go to the fire tower. Then, once you move to Chapter 6, swing the axe to hit a Reindeer and have him pushed off the edge. However, If he sails through, wait for him in Chapter 10 and make a move when he should be hiding. The Wendigo will detect the slightest movement and kill him. It’s the most effortless way to eliminate Matt, but you can fail in any quick events he encounters. 

Getting Ashley Killed

You can only kill Ashley towards the end of the game in Chapters 9 or 10. In Chapter 9, she is lost from her squad, and the Wendigo knows how to lay a trap for her. A Wendigo pretends to be Jess and calls out Ashley for help. If she investigates the calls and opens the door, it’s the end for her in Until Dawn 2024. The Wendigo will kill her instantly. If she escapes the trap, you can eliminate her and every other survivor in Chapter 10. 

Killing Josh

Joshua is among the invincibles whose death only occurs in Chapter 10. As Sam and Mike wade through the water, they can head straight to the waterwheel instead of going left to climb the ledge. Unless Mike persistently wants you to take the route. That way, they will have no chance of finding Hannah’s diary to read, so they can’t save Josh. 

Taking Emily Down

Emily’s death is imminent in Chapter 8, although she can still die later in Chapter 10. However, there are enough easy chances to eliminate her in Chapter 8 – Revelation. When the Wendigo chases her, have her veer to the right instead of turning left for the elevator. When she climbs the conveyor belt, select the option to let her stay instead of getting off, then fail deliberately in the quick time events. If you direct her to the elevator, you can still take time to start the elevator so that the Wendigo behind finds and kills her. 

Eliminating Mike

Mike is also an unbeatable character in Until Dawn 2024. He will not relent until the last chapter. But if you only aim at hurting Jessica’s lover, the bear trap will fulfil your desire just a little. You can have Mike’s fingers cut off in Chapter 5 at the bear trap. While he explores the Sanatorium, he reaches out to the creepy hand in the morgue and then chooses to cut Mike’s fingers. To eliminate Mike, skip the option to save Mike when playing as Sam. 

You can also wait for him to blow the house along with everyone else who survived. However, if Sam fails to save Mike and runs, you might not find another opportunity to eliminate her. Therefore, the best option would be to save Mike and wait until they are both in the house with the Wendigos. 

How to Kill Sam

In Until Dawn, Sam is one of the most resilient characters, and it’s difficult to kill her until the final chapter of the game. In fact, she is typically the last character who can die, particularly in Chapter 10. However, with the right (or wrong) decisions and actions, it is possible to orchestrate her death earlier than expected, along with other characters like Mike, through a combination of choices and quick-time event (QTE) failures.

Killing the Wolf

If Mike dislikes the wolf, he has a choice to chase it when he encounters it in the asylum. However, he can still kill the wolf by leaving the asylum without a barricade on the door. The Wendigo will eventually find and kill it. Alternatively, Mike should fail in one of his quick-time events so that the wolf can bear the attack for him and die.
