Tsugunohi: Supernatural Supermarket coming to PS4, Switch on October 10

Publisher and developer Vaka Game Magazine, and developer ImCyan will release horror game Tsugunohi: Supernatural Supermarket for PlayStation 4 and Switch on October 10, the companies announced.

Tsugunohi: Supernatural Supermarket first launched for PC via Steam on February 1, 2023.

About

On December 22, 2022, the 10th installment Tsugunohi: Supernatural Supermarket, created as the 10th anniversary celebration of the J-horror game Tsugunohi.

The gameplay remains the same as before, simply moving the protagonist to the left. With no complex controls, you can immerse yourself more deeply in the eerie, realistic story.

Once you clear the game, a hidden scenario is unlocked, with even more terrifying scenes awaiting you.

Set in a supermarket after closing hours, experience how the protagonist’s daily life is gradually invaded by “horror”…

Story

At the supermarket where high school student Kiri started working part-time, shoplifting incidents had been occurring frequently lately. Time passed without catching the culprit, but it seems that whatever is taking the products might not be human…

The Tsugunohi series is the representative work of ImCyan, an indie game creator who continues to produce numerous horror titles.

The series’ main feature is its “move left only” control scheme. It’s a horror game where you experience everyday life gradually being invaded by terror as you continue walking along your usual route home or at your workplace.
