Who do you think will win?
- 12 teams to compete for the ultimate prize
- Two stages: Point Rush and the Grand Final
- The race for MVP is on too
After a riveting few weeks, we’re finally nearing the end of The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Southeast Asia 2024, as the 12 top teams from the region compete for the ultimate championship. After six weekends of intense Knockout battles, the tournament will conclude with the Point Rush and Grand Final stages, set to take place at the Surabaya Convention Centre in Indonesia from October 11th to 13th.
Things will kick off with the Point Rush stage, which will see no eliminations. What’s the point then? Well, the stakes are high for underperforming teams as the bottom four teams will lose their chance to compete in the Global Finals in Brazil from November 8th. Thailand’s Team Falcons has already secured a spot in the Global Finals through their performance in the Esports World Cup: Free Fire, but the other teams are still battling for their place.
The competition is fierce, with five teams from Thailand, including Buriram United Esports, All Gamers Global, Twisted Minds, Attack All Around, and Team Falcons, leading the charge. These Thai teams have dominated the Knockout Stage, with all five sitting comfortably in the top six positions.
Indonesia's RRQ Kazu, currently ranked third, stands as the only non-Thai team to break into the upper ranks. They placed fourth in last year’s global FFWS, making them Indonesia’s strongest hope for victory.

Vietnamese teams have also made significant strides, with four teams qualifying for the Finals. WAG, in particular, has been a standout, securing the most Booyahs! during the Knockout Stage. With their recent performances, Vietnamese teams could surprise the competition in this final showdown.
As the tournament comes to a close, the battle for the Most Valuable Player is heating up too. AG.Dew currently leads with seven MVPs and 207 eliminations, but BRU.Wassana, TWIS.Diamond, and RRQ.Maal are close behind, each with seven MVPs of their own. The Final MVP will take home the trophy and $4,000 in prize money.
