They are Billions!

- Stick World Z: Zombie War TD brings some They are Billions-like action to mobile
- Take on hordes of zeds as you build up your fortress, recruit troops and more
- Experience a campaign and constantly-scaling action as you play
In the pseudo-mythical past of Adobe Flash, there were two subjects for the long-gone days of gaming that were always popular: Stick men and zombies. So, little surprise then that some mad genius has decided to mix the two, as they have with Stick World Z: Zombie War.
The best way to describe Stick World Z is as something of an off-brand mobile version of They Are Billions, the arguably top zombie tower defence out there. And while it may lack those more detailed graphics and enormous hordes of zeds, there's still something fairly charming at Stick World Z.
As far as gameplay and features go, Stick World Z has virtually everything you'd want from something in this genre! Build up your base, recruit troops, place fortifications and prepare for a constantly scaling threat from the hordes. Going from regular zombies to more deadly and fearsome foes to keep you constantly on your toes.
Fetch me their souls
Stick World Z also promises to offer various other features, such as its own storyline and constant upgrades. And while I reckon this is not going to be someone's go-to zombie defence release, I do think it looks to be a competent and well-put-together entry.
Certainly, it supports my constant argument that the world of mobile gaming has a surprising amount owed to it by the world of Flash games. Whether that's just the subject matter, such as stickmen and zombies, or even the gameplay aspects, there's a lot of historical inspiration that's always interesting to see.
