StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II’s campaign are coming to Xbox Game Pass

Two classic StarCraft PC games are coming to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has confirmed.

StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection are both coming to PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate on November 5.

The original StarCraft and the multiplayer section of StarCraft II are already free-to-play, but the remaster of the first game costs $14.99 and the Campaign mode from the second game costs $39.99.

“In this genre-defining sci-fi series, players engage in an epic war across the stars in the 25th century,” Blizzard‘s Amelia Savery said on the Xbox Wire blog.

“Featuring three different factions—the human Terrans, bug-like Zerg, and the technologically advanced Protoss – the games set each species against each other for the fate of the Koprulu sector.”

She added: “Ever since StarCraft first launched in 1998 and expanded with StarCraft II in 2010, the series has left an indelible mark on the real-time strategy genre, esports, and the rise of live streaming – and continues to enthral a very active and passionate community that is always looking to welcome new members into their ranks.

“We hope to see you on November 5 when StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection land on Game Pass. Khas il’adare!”
