Usher in the Year of the Snake the right way
- Sky: Children of the Light is set to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a new event
- Days of Fortune makes a return with a sky-soaring new minigame
- Meet previous additions and nab memorable keepsakes
It would seem to me that, given how dreary January can be, there's been a rush to adopt a new holiday to celebrate early in the year. And what better option than the festive, fun and vibrant Lunar New Year? An important event in the Chinese (and many other's) calendar, hit mobile MMO Sky: Children of the Light is celebrating it too!
Days of Fortune, Sky: Children of the Light's Lunar New Year celebration, is back! Lasting from January 27th to February 9th, there's plenty to enjoy. How about the new Days of Fortune minigame which transports you high into the air to soar through it on a glider? Collect glowing lanterns and create a formation of light to gain Event Ticket Lights in the process.
As you might expect there's plenty in the way of musical fun to experience too, such as with the return of the fan-favorite stone dragon and other additions including the new Dragon Dance music sheet. And even when the Days of Fortune ends there'll be plenty of keepsakes you can nab during the event to remember it by, such as themed outfits, accessories, capes and props.
Fortune be with you
Of course, it's also not really surprising that Lunar New Year has become increasingly popular. Otherwise known as Chinese New Year, it's incredibly popular across the Pacific and overshadows Christmas on the yearly calendar. Of course, for many top releases, it offers another way to draw fans in with some top rewards.
