Prince Of Persia Remake Team Shares Final Message Following Game's Cancellation

The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake feels like it's been doomed from the start. After first being announced all the way back in September of 2020, the game ended up suffering numerous delays before eventually switching development teams to Ubisoft Montreal in 2023, and progress then seemed to be coming along nicely.

However, with reports suggesting its arrival was imminent in the early part of 2026, Ubisoft has suddenly come out and cancelled a bunch of games — including the Prince of Persia remake — as part of the company's new strategy.
